This is one of the main reasons that PDM comes into play. Revision management gets hairy with custom properties and references. There are integrations in Workgroup PDM for this as well. There are reasons to have them separate but it would be nice to link. Everyone does revision management different.

I've always wanted it to be tied to the configuration specific custom property. When would one configuration have two drawings?

It probably because some may have multiple models on the drawing. Should be an option though.

There is one possibility. When I rev the cuwhat about tying the drawing rev property to the View?

I a agree Charles, a revision should be tied to the model and the drawing. Seems like it would be pretty straight forward to do so. I alway's wondered about why it was separate.
